Sustaining your teeth

I grew up using all sorts of chemicals and non-natural things all around me. In fact, I always kind of thought the people who were insisting on getting organic and natural things were a bit kooky.

However, there came a turning point in my life when I switched to natural toothpaste. The original reason for the switch was to help fight cold sores. We bought Toms of Maine toothpaste and have stuck with it until very recently.

Lithuania has more natural toothpaste options than Egypt did.

My teeth are pretty good in general. I had a few fillings when I was a kid and a few more as an adult, but since making the switch to natural toothpaste, I haven’t had a filling in over 7 years. In fact, I just went to the dentist for the first time in five years (don’t judge) and she said there were no problems!

Since I certainly haven’t changed my diet (I will love eating and drinking sugary things for the rest of my life!), I credit this to natural toothpaste.

So the good thing is that my teeth are healthy! I highly recommend natural toothpaste. The bad thing is that it still comes in a plastic tube.

Trying out the tooth tablets or tooth powder that comes in glass jars is on my list for the future.
